MR. SEYI WRIGHT
Mr. Oluseyi Wright is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wright & Co Ltd, an affiliate of Leadership & Vision Ltd, a foremost leadership development consulting firm. He has conducted over 500 capacity-building programs and several strategy sessions for companies in various sectors of the economy. He has trained over forty-five thousand (45,000) corporate executives.
- He has over 40 years of working experience, a part of which was in the banking industry. He was until April 1997, the Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Merchant Bank with responsibility for strategic direction, effective asset/ liability management, people development, and sustained profitability of the bank.
- Prior to this position, he worked with Chase Merchant Bank, Lagos (an affiliate of Chase Manhattan Bank, New York). He was also, at various times the Head of the Corporate Banking Division and Capital Markets Division of Continental Merchant Bank (formerly Chase Merchant Bank). He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors of Global International College, the former Chairman of the board of Bluebird Communications Ltd.
- Seyi’s areas of competence includes Corporate Banking, Transaction Structuring, Financial Advisory, Credit Analysis, Strategy, Leadership Development, Human Capital Development, and Agricultural Financing.

MR. ADETOLA ATEKOJA
He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of FCSL Finance Company Limited.
Mr. Adetola Atekoja is an experienced banker with over 30 years exposure and experience in Public Practice & Consulting, Industrial, Financial and Maritime Sectors of the Economy. He is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) and Harvard Kennedy School, Boston, USA.
He has several other sterling qualifications, amongst which are:
- He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation. He started his career in 1983 with the prestigious Audit and Consulting Firm, KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick Ani, Ogunde &Co) and left in 1987 as an Audit Senior. He Joined Inlaks Group Nigeria as a Group Corporate Finance Officer and later as Group Investment Manager in 1988.
- He was seconded as Chief Accountant / Treasurer of First Aluminium Co. Plc (a subsidiary of Inlaks Group Nigeria). He was headhunted to set up the Corporate Finance Department at Kapital Merchant Bank Limited in 1993 and he became the Pioneer Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer, at County Savings and Loans Trust Limited. He worked at Marina Bank Limited and later at Access Bank Plc before joining Nigeria Ports Authority in 2006 as General Manager of Finance.
- He was promoted to the post of Executive Director, Finance and Administration in 2007, a position he retired from after completing his tenure of office. He held Directorship positions in Lagos Channel Management Company Limited, Metropolitan Trust Insurance Company Limited, and Continental Shipyard Limited.
- He served as a member of the Presidential Taskforce on the Port Reforms Programme of the Federal Government and as a member of the Federal Government Committee on Relationship with the Islamic Development Bank.

DR. AHMED BABATUNDE POPOOLA
Dr Ahmed Babatunde Popoola (Dr ‘Tunde Popoola) is a Nigerian Banker, Accountant, Economist, Entrepreneur and Business Executive.
He has over thirty years cumulative work experience spanning the public and the private sectors of the Nigerian economy.
He has been the MD/CEO of CRC Credit Bureau Limited since its establishment in 2008. Prior to this, he was also the Pioneer CEO of the Abuja Enterprise Agency (AEA).
- He was in the banking industry where he rose to the position of the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and General Manager of a publicly listed bank. He is in the forefront of the development of the nascent credit reporting system in Nigeria and Africa.
- Dr. Popoola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria, two Master’s Degrees in Banking & Finance and Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a PhD in Finance from WITS Business School, University of The Witwatersrand, South Africa.
- He is an alumnus of the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS)’s Senior Management Programme (SMP 12) and the Wharton Business School’s Advanced Management Programme (AMP 67).
- He has also attended executive education programs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard Business School, the International Management and Development (IMD), Switzerland and the Kellogg School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and seven other professional bodies.
- He holds several awards and recognitions especially for his role in entrepreneurship, business management, finance, and youth empowerment.
- He is also a proud recipient of a special Ministerial recognition and commendation for his innovation and promotion of youth enterprise in the FCT.
MRS. ADENIKE ADEYEMI
Adenike is currently serving as a Non-Executive Director of the Board of FCSL Finance Company Limited and also the CEO of Nigeria’s leading business incubator with 22 years of experience in social innovation, corporate strategy, and governance.
Recognized as one of the 7 Global Non-Profit Leaders to Watch in 2023 by Google, she has developed and implemented high-impact programs across private, public, and development sectors.
- Her core competencies include entrepreneurship ecosystem building, philanthropy, impact fund management, and institutional transformation. Adenike has held several leadership roles, including Independent Non-Executive Director positions at various organizations like Animal Care, BudgIT, and VDT Group.
- She has also contributed to national economic planning as Vice-Chair of the Central Organizing Committee for the 29th Nigerian Economic Summit. Academically, she holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University, where she graduated with a 3.80 GPA.
- Adenike has successfully led FATE Foundation, achieving a 485% income growth and securing over $10 million in fundraising from global partners like Google and Ford Foundation. Her work includes transitioning the organization to financial sustainability and expanding its endowment fund through strategic financial management.
- She has collaborated with international organizations such as the World Bank and the Aspen Institute to develop leadership initiatives and partnerships. Adenike has published articles and reports on social enterprise and entrepreneurship, contributing to global discussions on MSME competitiveness and socio-economic recovery in Nigeria.
MR. OPEYEMI AGBAJE
Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje is currently serving on the Board of FCSL Finance Company Limited as a Non-Executive Director, a highly respected economic and policy analyst, management consultant, business school lecturer, lawyer, and former senior banker is one of Nigeria’s leading strategy and business advisers.
He is the Founder of RTC Advisory Services Ltd, a leading strategy, economy and policy, and business advisory firm. Mr Agbaje serves as Chairman and CEO at RTC Advisory, a position he returned to in September 2021 after a two-year stint as Executive Secretary/CEO of Ogun State Security Trust Fund from August 2019 to September 2021.
- He was previously on the board of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) for two terms between 2011 and August 2019. Mr. Agbaje served for over five (5) years in GTB’s Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking Group, including as Manager/Team Lead and Assistant General Manager/Group Head overseeing the Bank’s business with Investment/Merchant Banks, Capital Market Companies, Development Banks and other Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
- He is acclaimed as a Financial Sector expert. He is also a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)-registered Capital Market Consultant-Solicitor (registered since 2006) and chairs the Investment Strategy Committees of five (5) SEC-approved Funds managed by leading capital market firms, Vetiva Capital Management (Vetiva Money Market Fund and Vetiva Griffin 30 Exchange Traded Fund) and FCMB Asset Management Ltd (Legacy Debt Fund, Legacy Equity Fund and Legacy Dollar Fund).
- Mr. Opeyemi Agbaje started his banking career as a corporate solicitor in the Legal/Company Secretarial Department of First Bank of Nigeria Plc, after working as Counsel at Kola Awodein and Co. SAN., before moving into core banking at GTBank.
- Opeyemi Agbaje is on the faculty of the Lagos Business School teaching Business Strategy and Social, Political and Economic Environment of Business (SPEB) since 1999. He joined the full faculty in 2004, leaving in 2007 as Head of Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Business Environment to return to part-time teaching. His curriculum and areas of focus covers areas of business environment, law and regulation in financial services and investment, economic reforms and markets and country risk analysis. He holds Master’s Degrees in both Law (1989) and Business (1997) from the University of Lagos and IESE Business School, Spain respectively. Opeyemi graduated in Law with Honors from the University of Ife in 1985 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1986.
- Opeyemi worked for over sixteen years in banking and finance through various institutions including First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Oceanic Bank (now Ecobank Nigeria), and Metropolitan Bank Ltd (now UBA Plc) rising to Executive Director. He voluntarily exited the banking sector in 2004 when he founded RTC Advisory Services Ltd, to pursue his passion for economy and policy, strategy, research, consulting, and academia.
- His multi-disciplinary work experience commenced as a public prosecutor in the DPP’s Office in the defunct Bendel State Ministry of Justice, Benin; almost two years of practice as a Solicitor and Advocate at Kola Awodein SAN and Co. and work as a corporate counsel in the Legal/Company Secretarial Department of First Bank. At GTBank, he joined as a foundation staff at the inception of the bank in 1990 as a banking officer and rose rapidly to Manager by 1994 and Assistant General Manager by 1998 working in consumer banking, financial institutions and correspondent banking, and corporate and commercial banking.
WOLE FALANA
He is the current MD/CEO of FCSL Finance Company Limited.
He holds a B.Sc. Degree in Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife and trained with the firm, Ernst & Young International (locally called Osindero, Oni & Lasebikan (OO&L) a firm of Chartered Accountants) where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May, 1993. He worked with OO&L for five years as Senior Accountant before joining F&CSL as the Head of Operations. He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (FCA), and of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCITN). Also, he is an Associate Institute of Stockbrokers (ACIS). He has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and General Administration.
